Blogging Platforms

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

There are multiple platforms to choose from and they each have their own benefits. Here are a couple different ones and what they offer.
1. WordPress- There are two platforms with this one. There are and is the one that you do everything yourself and is free, but you need a domain name. I use is free to start then $4.00 a month and it includes hosting, security, back-ups, and you can use your own domain name. You also have access to their themes and many more options. It gives you great plug-in options and is very easy to use.
2. Wix- This platform has a drag and drop option making it very easy to use. There were quite a few templates you can use to create your blog. This is a free platform.
3. Blogger- This is an easy platform to use. You do not need to have very much blogging knowledge to start your blog. The downside is that it doesn’t get updated very often.
4. Weebly – The building of your blog is very easy to use with the drag and drop option. Weebly hosts your site which makes for a quick set up. The built-in options are limited though.

Out of all these I would have to say that is the one that gives you the most options. Plus, it is easy to use and so far it has been fairly trouble free. There is a wide variety of plug-ins for you to use in your blog. You also have quite a few options to customize your site.
